Betting systems based on statistical analysis have been around for a while, however they have not always been well known. One group that was known for their accurate predictions was called The Computer Group. They formed in Las Vegas in 1980 and successfully wagered on college football and basketball games for years making millions. Michael Kent, co-founder and one of the lesser-known individuals of the group, would use his computer software to run through massive amounts of data, which then provided the group's network of bettors with useful information. The network of bettors would then bet on games in which they had a statistical advantage (as determined by the software). Billy Walters, who was profiled on 60 Minutes,[1] was the most famous member of the group.[2]

Would you rather grind your life through a boring day-job or effortlessly place a few bets in a couple of minutes a day on events you don’t give a damn about? Actually, if you don`t like sports, its even simpler because your emotions are left out of the equation, letting you follow the system and make even more money than a sports lover could do, because they tend to take sides :) SO, the lesson here is: Don`t frame your thinking… expand your horizon, take all the factors in consciously and make an informed decision… don’t indulge in self-sabotage but instead, just focus on the goal: Make Money From Home The Easy Way And Reward Yourself With The Most Precious Thing We’ve Got: TIME
If you are interested in a certain betting system, It is definite that you will need a test drive to test its credibility. The Zcode system provides a test drive for any member intending to sign in for its betting services. With the test drive, Zcode refunds any money you lose in the process. This way anyone interested can have a sneak preview of the system without having to incur any costs on it.

Why is this important when making your selection? Well, hopefully, it's clear that your goal when making picks should not be picking winners. Anybody can come out and fire on huge favorites to pad a nice looking win/loss record. It takes an expert to come out and make bets that win you money. This is called making bets for value. Your entire goal of sports betting should be trying to find bets that have value.
Beating the closing number is key. Something I've started documenting is time stamping all my plays, with the date and time the best line was available at Pinnacle for that play. Not sure yet how I will use this information, thought maybe of getting an average, or seeing how it relates to different sports, with dogs and totals. Finding the average day and time of the week to place bets in the NFL as it relates to your style, may come in handy. Even if they're all over the place, finding that average time couldn't hurt.
To be sure of a reliable profit over various markets, new models need to be developed for each of them. This is a full-time job. So even if you have the prerequisite mathematical skills, I wouldn’t recommend becoming a professional gambler. There are many other jobs in mathematics and statistics that provide a much more stable income than gambling and require a much smaller starting capital.
To illustrate how being able to pick winners is only part of the equation, there should be times where you bet on something you think will lose. You might be asking yourself if you actually read that right. Pick things you think will lose? Yes, that's correct. If you see a boxer, for example, who you think will lose the fight, but he's a +600 underdog when he should be in the +300 range--that is profitable move over the long-run.

You will also receive 6-unit games during the season, which are like a game of the month type situation. (You may get one or two of these a month per sport) These are exceptionally strong plays, where exclusive information will come into play. Seven and Eight unit plays are game of the year type situations. For instance Doc's Sports 7-unit game is Docs "Top College Game of the Season." This game has been a very high percentage winner over the last 36 years, and is a must for the serious player. In football, Doc's Sports 8-unit game is Doc's "Big Ten Game of the Year." This is the most sought after game in the country year after year. This is the game that made Doc's Sports famous - the game that won and covered 19 years in a row - the game in which Doc and his customers would move the Las Vegas line up to 6 points - DON'T MISS THIS GAME. The other handicapping services on our Web site use the same type of rating system for the same situations.

In 2012, despite federal law preventions, the state legislature of New Jersey and Governor Chris Christie signed a law that would allow sports betting to take place in New Jersey race tracks and Atlantic City casinos.[14] In August 2012, Fairleigh Dickinson University's PublicMind conducted a study on the issue. Voters were asked whether New Jersey should allow sports betting even if federal law prevents it from doing so, or wait to allow sports betting until federal law permits it. Results showed that nearly half (45%) of voters wanted to allow sports betting, while (38%) decided to wait and allow sports betting once Congress allows it. Krista Jenkins, director of the poll, commented, "Although support is not overwhelming, these numbers suggest the public is cautiously behind the goal of moving forward with legalized sports betting."[15]
For bettors, let’s put this more plainly – small point spreads favor a team with a better defense more than a high-powered offense. The modern league is guard-heavy and PF/C-light. Obviously, the big men that provide defensive numbers and can also score are very few and very far between. That means just a few teams are likely to beat the spread based solely on their defensive ability. That makes identifying them very easy.
Among the most popular options used by the software in the Zcode system, are the typical straight betting, over-under, handicaps, Asian handicaps, among others. All these options have recommendations of the best odds in each bookie available. Zcode is responsible for processing each piece of information during the day to arrive at a conclusion of which will be the best option to bet.
This should probably go to number 1 to be honest but value means different things to different people. I make my own oddsline so I can see value in EVERY single race thanks to the automatically generated odds-lines for each race. Does that mean you should bet every single one? Well, no…that is where the ‘Specialise and Focus’ step comes in but if you are not backing horses at bigger odds than the market estimates their chances then you will really struggle to make a long-term profit. You could back a horse at 6/4 that should be 5/4, that is value but I would rather back a horse at 20/1 that should be 10/1. There may be longer losing runs but the payoff for me is far better. Of course this depends on how good you are at selecting long-odds shots but on Betfair you can get some crazily overpriced top-rated horses who pay 50/1 instead of the 33/1 SP for example. So don’t look for winners of races, look for overlays within the race.
As you might guess, coming up with a winning system is not easy. If it were easy, there would be no value in sports betting because everyone would be crushing the books until all the good opportunities dried up. It would be near impossible to get your hands on any value unless you were the quickest bettor in the land. The sportsbooks would also put out perfect lines because their system would be flawless.
The only way to achieve long-term success at sports betting is by following a winning system and fundamental handicapping, combined with sound money management. Our betting systems were developed by a team of economists and financial experts to identify measurably mispriced games. Sportsbooks leave money on the table every day as they look to offset risk. Our strategies are designed to alert members to these profitable situations.
In Asian betting markets, other frequently used formats for expressing odds include Hong Kong, Malaysian, and Indonesian-style odds formats. Odds are also quite often expressed in terms of implied probability, which corresponds to the probability with which the event in question would need to occur for the bet to be a break-even proposition (on the average).

Well, what started as an innocent try came up to be very promising, I picked Z Code System because I read honest review (not these fake comments around the web) which made me believe Z Code the most. Truth is that the price is higher than on the other sports investing systems but if you read closely what they have on official Z Code System websites and what you mostly can not see in reviews or comments around is the fact that the development team of Z Code System worked hard for at least 2 years just beta-testing the whole system before even launching it for real. I think that is the right prepare for business and everyone should take an example of how to build successful investing system that can be used by everyone.

Z-Code is a machine, a “code” so to speak, it has no favourite players or teams, it is ice cold and tracks performance & performance only! Handicappers that predict games tend to have favourites, even if they don`t admit it… their choices are emotional… and without 100% objectivity, you can never be as accurate as a proven prediction model  that`s why, we eat handicappers for breakfast!
Betting odds represent the bettors’ perception of value, not actual value. Our betting systems are able to pinpoint and exploit pricing opportunities created by the irrationality of sports bettors, and the need for sportsbooks to balance their risk exposure. By examining 20+ years of betting line data with our proprietary betting trends, we’ve developed profitable betting strategies based on cutting edge “market efficiency” economic theory.
– Most of today’s bookmaker apps and websites have their own convenient analysis tools or tip forums made available from the home page or in a customized window. These tip sheets or (in some very few cases) actual pieces of recorded audio analysis are part of the membership package at certain sportsbooks, so not using them is sort of like getting less out of your membership. These services are available for free for the most part, so anything of value learned from them is like adding money to your bankroll.
Prop Betting Strategy – Prop bets are generally considered the easiest wagering opportunity for sports bettors to beat. In our article on prop betting strategy I give a full break down of the prop bet “which team will score first”. After reading that article you’ll have enough information to start finding +EV bets on this specific prop. In time, as you get experience you’ll be able to solve other prop bet on your own and then beat them using as similar method to the one I show in the example.
Once you watch the new members webinar, the next thing you need to do is join at least one Bookmaker. As you’ll learn in the Z Code System, The Bookmaker or Bookie for short, is an organization that accepts bets and pays winnings depending upon results of the sporting event.  As they teach in the system, you’ll want to make sure your bookie provides best odds, supports NHL, NBA, NFL and MLB and allows you to buy points.
Sports betting systems can use many different factors including statistical, psychological, situational, motivational, or a combination of any of the above to combine with past performances to support picking one outcome over another in a game. Certain events that favour an outcome are called angles, and sports betting systems usually combine different angles to provide a higher chance of winning selections.

So many punters I know bet ‘on gut’, follow favourites or tipsters blindly or just try to make decisions based on summaries in the Racing Press or online but there is a reason why some ‘professional gamblers’ resort to punditry on TV and a reason why these ‘experts’ are working for media companies. It’s mainly because they talk a good talk or have had success in the past before the market wised up to them. A lot of punters also just don’t learn or adapt with the times, which you have to do on a regular basis. Many gamblers looked up to the big-betting exploits of Harry Findlay but has anyone heard from him lately? Last I heard he had filed for bankruptcy back in 2012. You need to stop being so lazy and start using your time more effectively to understand your own betting and formulate your own choices.
It depends on the system you follow! We currently have over 120 successful systems included in the package. All of them give signals based on their statistical analysis. These picks are most likely to be winners and have performed very well for a number of years. You can’t expect them all to be winners because no one can possibly predict every games outcome, but these zcode picks are about as good as you can get in the sports betting industry.
Sports betting in Texas is not currently legal, and more than likely won’t be for a long time. Despite the fact that Texas lawmakers lose out on close to two and a half billion dollars annually to casinos in neighboring states, there is no indication that they plan to expand gambling in the Lone Star state. As neighboring states begin to legalize sports betting, expect that deficit to grow even larger.

– Bettors have always been able to purchase the advice of a “professional handicapper.” These services connect individuals to information provided by a personality who dedicates himself to handicapping, and for the price of a tuxedo rental he’ll ostensibly help you make winning picks all season long. These days, the same kind of info is available by text message, email, social media post, etc. Some people have trouble justifying the cost, and for these people, other methods are available.
At first glance, the difference looks like it’s .53, or just over half a point. But the difference is actually 1.15, or just over a point. Notice that the offensive yards per point for the two teams is almost the same, at 18.49 and 18.48. But the defensive yards per point for team B are much lower than the defensive yards per point of team A, at 18.18 to 19.32.
You also state that ANY person can BLINDLY pick -110 games and be reasonably close to 50%. If you are basing that on the notion of flipping a coin a million times and getting close to half heads and half tails (the law of averages), you are mistaken. Picking games is not the same as flipping a coin. Each game has factors and aspects unique to that game. If you blindly pick games, you may very well go 1-19 or 2-18 on any given day. It would be the equivalent of flipping several coins of all different shapes, sizes, and weight. The unique aspects of each coin would be enough to skew the results to lean towards one side.
Yoon and his research team explored the optimal process of prediction in a series of studies examining bets made on soccer matches and baseball games. In their first study, they reviewed more than one billion (yes, billion) bets placed in 2008-2010 through Korea's largest sports-betting company, "Sports ToTo." They characterized the bets in one of two ways: (a) bets that involved a general prediction (i.e., win or lose), and (b) bets that involved a specific prediction (i.e., a precise score). Critically, they wanted to know which type of bet was more likely to result in an accurate prediction of the overall winner. Despite the fact that the specific bets were arguably more difficult and involved greater effort than general bets, they led to diminished success in predicting the global outcome of the game (i.e., which team won). This disadvantage was especially pronounced for games in which the favored team won.
The eyeball approach is not really a professional term, but more of a way of describing the strategy of collecting data, analyzing stats and history, and then coming to your own conclusion. This is what a lot of sports bettors already do but in a milder form. Here's where we'd like to put a twist on it, though. Most sports bettors look at the game coming up as a one-time game, and they decide either win or lose. This doesn't help us if we're looking for a percentage chance of winning the game.
It's summertime. For Americans, that means baseball season and all the simple pleasures that the game affords — from peanuts and Cracker Jack to the seventh inning stretch and renditions of "Take Me Out to the Ballgame." For many, though, the game is not the same without the opportunity to place a little (or even a big) wager on the outcome. Whether legal or not, betting is ubiquitous in baseball, and in all other sports for that matter. And of course betting is not even limited to sporting events: it has evolved into an international, multi-billion dollar industry. People now wager on the outcome of events like American Idol and the Miss American Pageant just as readily as they do the World Series or March Madness.
When it comes to betting, it’s not just about the games that are covered. It’s also about the wager types available and the betting limits you have to operate within. At BetOnline, you’ll find the largest selection of traditional and exotic wager types around. Additionally, betting limits are adjustable, which means you play at whatever level you’re most comfortable with. We’ve just barely covered the tip of the iceberg, so head over to BetOnline to find out what other goodies they have in store for you, like signing and deposit bonuses, free plays, and much more.
As you start to find the important criteria, you’ll want to start plugging them into a checklist or a formula. If it’s a checklist, you’ll want to focus on which criteria work together and which do not. You may find that you come up with a few different checklists that you want to try. If this is the case, that’s okay. When we talk about testing and tracking, you’ll be able to flush out which ones work and which ones do not.
Create accounts with a few sportsbooks. In order to place bets, you have to have an account with at least one sportsbook, though it’s ideal to have at least three, because then you can compare offerings and place smarter bets. Some sportsbooks also offer signup bonuses, so be sure to shop around.[2] Most sportsbooks are available online these days, and some of the more popular sites include:
